Job Requirements:

Willing to train, Science or Chemistry degree a plus
Excellent computer skills, knowledge of MS Word and Excel a must
Ability to work with minimal supervision, work well with others in team, maintain and create new systems
Experience with hands-on nuts and bolts workshop environment a plus
Be reliable, responsible to clients for correct shipment of equipment and sampling media

Job Responsibilities:

Sample receiving, logging into LIMS System via data entry, sample disposal
Maintain, calibrate and track sampling equipment
Prepare, package and ship light sampling equipment and sampling media via online shipping carriers
Must be able to communicate effectively with clients in matters of sample shipment and Chain of Custody procedures
Prepare weekly/daily logs
Clean & prepare glassware

Job Requirements:

B.S. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or equivalent
Familiarization with the theories and principles of Analytical Chemistry and Instrumentation including GCs, detectors, column selection and analysis techniques
0 to 2 years of laboratory analytical experience with GC, GC/MS, HPLC, IC, IR, ASE, etc.
Familiarization with data acquisition software, i.e. Chemstation, Peaknet and Chromperfect
Must be fluent with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
Self-motivated, responsible individual with good communication skills and willingness to learn and progress over time through consistent dedication and training. The position requires the individual to multi-task and to be flexible and participate in a team environment. Ability to peer train, cross train and to learn multiple instruments is a plus for career enhancement in this lab environment.

3 to 10 years of analytical laboratory experience, specifically with GC/MS
Additional experience with HPLC, IC a plus
Must be familiar with the theories and principles of Analytical Chemistry and Instrumentation including GCs, detectors, column selection and analysis techniques
Must be familiar with data acquisition software, i.e. Chemstation, Peaknet and Chromperfect
Must be fluent with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
Familiarization with a wide range of air analysis methods, sampling equipment and instrumentation a plus
Self-motivated, responsible individual with good communication skills and willingness to learn and progress over time through consistent dedication and training. The position requires the individual to multi-task, be independent/self-sufficient, and be flexible and participate in a team environment.
A flexible schedule is a requirement and involves weekend and evening responsibilities.
